The company guided by the chairperson ventured into the villages of India to tap potential talent, and to give an international exposure to a discerning audience.
Encompassing all operations from Weaving, Dyeing, application techniques like Embroidery till Finishing, JKM Overseas operates under a vertically integrated structure. Employing over 250 people today, every worker has been imbued with the strong aesthetic and quality consciousness that has made our product an international acclaimed commodity. Heading a team of In-house Designers, each specializing in areas of Print Design development and Embroidery techniques, Ms Modi continues to lend her creative abilities in developing innovative designs on fabrics and techniques. With an In-house weaving capacity of 53 power looms and 3 rapier Looms, as also an add-on capacity of another 50 Looms with associates, JKM has a production capacity of nearly 100,000 mtrs of varied fabric per month. With the latest Washing and processing facilities, JKM products boast of the best of hand feel achievable. A strong Embroidery team of nearly 50 Artisans work in close co-ordination to create eye catching designs. With a stream-lined Production set-up and a dedicated Production Team, JKM Overseas regularly ships out about 30,000 to 35,000 pcs. every month. A strong Quality assurance team, following the latest AQL 2.5 standards, ensures that each and every Shipment passes through the most stringent quality parameters, right from Fabric Stage to finishing Stage, before it is on-board for its destination.
Today JKM Overseas enjoys the patronage of a vast Clientele worldwide, who stand by our commitment to innovations, design concepts and quality. With a product portfolio which would include Fashion Accessories like Scarves, Stoles and Shawls, a limited range of Fashion Jewellery and a Premium range of Bed Linen, we are working today mostly with Natural Fibres like Cashmere, fine Merino Wool, Silks, Cottons, Linen and their composite Blends. Traditional techniques like hand Painting, Wood Block Printing, Tie-dye applications and Embroidery are being used with a contemporary outlook, making each product a must-have in the wardrobe of every fashionista.
